Waterproofing Systems Explained
There is no “best” waterproofing system only the right one for the substrate, exposure, and budget. These are the four families we specify most.

Torch-On Membranes
Polymer-modified bitumen sheets, flame-bonded to the substrate. The workhorse for flat roofs, parking decks, and podiums proven, repairable, and forgiving of imperfect substrates when installed by accredited applicators.

Liquid-Applied Membranes
Seamless polyurethane or acrylic coatings that cure into a continuous elastic skin. The answer for complex detailing upstands, penetrations, plant rooms where sheet systems would need fifty vulnerable joints.

Cementitious Systems
Crystalline and polymer-modified slurries for water-retaining structures, basements, and lift pits. Bonds into the concrete matrix itself waterproofing that can’t delaminate because it isn’t a layer.

Bituminous & Below-Grade

Which waterproofing system is right for my project?
It depends on substrate, exposure, movement, and access. A trafficked podium needs a different system than a lift pit under hydrostatic pressure. Send us your project details and we’ll recommend a system with the reasoning documented, not just a product name.
Do you supply to contractors only, or also to homeowners?
Our core business is project-scale supply to contractors, developers, and specialist applicators. For residential work, we’ll connect you with an accredited applicator in our network who buys the right system from us.
Are your systems covered by warranty?
Yes. Manufacturer warranties apply to all accredited systems we supply, and most extend further when installed by an accredited applicator. We provide the full warranty documentation with every specification.
Can you assess an existing waterproofing failure?
Yes. Our technical team does on-site assessments of failed or ageing installations, identifies the cause, and specifies a remediation system. In coastal and high-exposure environments, we recommend this before every re-roof.
